Hello, my name is Hanna Lucas and I will be one of the 6th grade homeroom teachers this year. Additionally, I will be responsible for educating 5th and 6th graders in writing and social studies. 

I am a proud graduate of the Cherry School. Previously, I worked as a paraprofessional here for three years and I am now entering my fourth year as an educator at Cherry. Prior to my return, I taught reading and conducted reading interventions for grades 3-6.

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Bemidji State University. 

In my personal life, I have been happily married to my husband, Tyler, for three years. However, we have been together for a total of ten years. Recently, in March of 2023, we welcomed our daughter, Emma, into our family. Our household is also home to two dogs named Bailey and Daisy, as well as a cat named Chloe. 

During our leisure time, my family and I enjoy spending quality time with our loved ones, engaging in card and board games, camping, hiking, kayaking, and various other outdoor activities.
